About

The purpose of this site is to share the work of Robert Smith. Robert Smith was an LDS Hebrew scholar who made commentaries on most of the scriptures. He made commentaries on Isaiah, Revelation, Daniel, the Twelve prophets, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, the New Testament, Genesis/Moses, Abraham, Exodus, and others. In addition to making complete verse by verse commentaries on most of the scriptures, Robert Smith also made his own translations of the Twelve Prophets, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel from the original Hebrew. In his new translations and commentaries he made corrections to some of the errors in the King James Version and explained some of the deeper meanings of the original words in Hebrew.

Robert Smith felt inspired by the Lord to write these commentaries. His goal was to help others to better understand the message of the prophetic books regarding the events of the last days, including the gathering of the righteous and the destruction of the wicked, which will proceeds the Lord’s coming in glory. He desired that those who read his words would repent and be found worthy to be gathered with the righteous remnant to build up Zion, rather than be destroyed. Much of the meaning of these prophetic books was sealed away in metaphorical language. Robert Smith unsealed many of these metaphors, making them understandable to the modern reader.

Robert Smith passed away a few years ago, and his commentaries have largely been forgotten. All of his commentaries are out of print and nearly impossible to find. The only one that is still available is a short summary of his work entitled The Last Days Unsealed, which can still be found used online. While this book is valuable, it only scratches the surface of Robert Smith’s work. This site is dedicated to sharing all of his work.

While this site is dedicated to sharing the work of Robert Smith, it is really not about him at all. It is about Jesus Christ and the words the Lord delivered to his ancient prophets and latter-day prophet Joseph Smith to prepare us for the events of the last days.

We invite the reader to do as the Savior commanded and dilligently “search the prophets,” particularily Isaiah, to prepare for what is ahead. We have found Robert Smith’s commentaries to be an invaluable resource in understanding the Savior’s words in the scriptures. We hope that you too will find Robert Smith’s commentaries helpful as you search the scriptures and seek to set your life in order, that you may be prepared to withstand the great and terrible day of the Lord.

The time to repent and prepare for the coming tribulation is about up, so read quickly…
